Well hello, Eavesdroppers! This week’s episode goes from boring to bizarre as we look at two weird and whacky religious sects (just don’t call them cults, like Michelle does the whole way through…).
First up? In an effort to find a lighthearted cult where not everyone dies at the end, Michelle talks about The Bruderhof! In this episode she talks about… What they are… Who they are… How they got started… How they’re kind of boring… yawn. Don’t get us wrong, it IS interesting – in the way the Amish are interesting – and all in all they’re a neat little sect where, so far, no body dies. But hang one cotton-pickin’ minute because Geordie has a sect for you that will knock your little silver alien socks off. Yes, she’s scraped the surface of what it is to be RAËLIAN!!! (Almost sounds like alien, right?!)
