Beauty gadgets, ghost sex, and more… You’re invited to our first ever Eavesdroppin’ Pot Luck Party – Australian style, where everyone ‘brings a plate’… Which means this episode is a random pile of mini sausage rolls

So… The girls start off by talking about their first super-cute mini-troll comment on YouTube on the Woody Allen episode – WE’VE ARRIVED! After some obligatory Line of Duty chat and Michelle wanting to slap the smug face of Patricia Carmichael. (OK, so this isn’t in the episode but you know we’re obsessed – is Patricia H??? Why was she tracking AC-12’s cars? Why is she trying to stitch up Kate?? TENSE!!!) We give a couple of shout outs WITH NEW DITTY, including to Deuxième Vague. Geordie wonders who her doppelganger imposter literally running around her neighbourhood is before the pair get into a discussion about Mariel, Margaux and Dree Hemingway, a Nazi Gold documentary and forgotten perfumes of the 70s and 80s.  

Beauty gadgets

The first plate Michelle brings to the Pot Luck Party is… Facebook Ads. Specifically vibrating beauty gadgets (of which she has bought many) and earthing sheets. Are they a thing? Can they really heal? Or is it just the placebo effect? We ask a scientist. We’re no closer to finding the truth, although the truth is out there apparently…

Ghost sex & zombie dolls

Geordie’s first relationship potluck plate covers the case of Gary De Noia, a 36 year old American who’s worried that his ghost girlfriend is cheating on him. It’s OK, though – the sex is great and he’s now in a threesome with Sadie the unicorn. Yep. Geordie then follows this up with the case of Felicity Kadlec Rossi, 20, who married a flesh-dripping zombie doll after an ‘emotional and intimate’ seven-year relationship – and says they even consummated their marriage. POTLUCK, KIDS, THIS IS POTLUCK!

Coincidence & False Promise synchronicity theory

Michelle rounds out the episode with a savoury plate that looks at coincidence, synchronicity and love. Specifically, whether the False Promise Synchronicity theory is really a theory and if that crazy way you met your partner and then saw 17 foxes meant that your relationship was ‘meant to be’.
