This episode we start off with an update on the Chris Dawson case, which blew up when Australian podcast Teacher’s Pet investigated a paedophile ring and the disappearance-slash-suspected murder of Lynette Dawson. Michelle gives you a quick overview of the case and an update on some new evidence that’s come to light before getting into the origin story of hit TV series Stranger Things…

Yes, that’s right, the creepy supernatural thriller is supposedly based on true-life incidents. Can you believe it? We couldn’t! So… Who is Christopher Garetano? What is Camp Hero? Is there a disused secret underground mind-control lab in Montauk? And what is the Montauk Project? Were hundreds of thousands of kids abducted and experimented on in the 1970s and 1980s? Is it all a conspiracy theory? Or are the events true? You might not get any answers but listen in now to make up your own mind!

So, back in the 1950s, when the US government believed that Russia had developed ways to control people’s minds, the CIA decided to embark on their own mind-control methods and created a top-secret Cold War initiative named MK Ultra.
