In honour of Halloween, Geordie recounts some cemetery folklore, starting with the story of L. a wealthy publisher from the early 1930s who had a ghostly encounter at Kensal Green Cemetery with an old flame… She then investigates the Highgate Vampire, some scary black magic encounters, dark figures, stakes through bodies and more!

Michelle then follows with one of the most hauntingly tragic deaths of the 1990s – River Phoenix. On October 30, 1993, Hollywood actor River Phoenix had come off a day of shooting and was hyped to go Johnny Depp’s LA club, The Viper Room, to jam with his mates, including Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. But things didn’t work out as planned and instead of playing on stage with friends on Halloween, River ended up dying on the pavement outside the club from a deadly speedball. What happened that night? Who gave him the speedball? RIP River.
