In 1997 in Canberra, Australia, law student Anu Singh told friends she was going to kill herself and hosted two dinner parties where she was meant to end her own life. Instead, she laced her unsuspecting boyfriend Joe Cinque’s coffee with Rohypnol before injecting him with a lethal dose of heroin. Why would Anu want to kill her boyfriend? And why would Anu want to kill herself? Why was she using heroin? And what did Joe do to deserve to die? Was Anu on a psychotic break? Why did she give paramedics the wrong address?
