Rock ‘n’ roll and witchy stuff – it seems to go hand-in-hand and this week on Eavesdroppin’, hosts Geordie & Michelle dive into rock stars who’ve had a brush with the occult. Geordie kicks off the episode with a look at a classic tale of selling your soul to the devil for fame – yes, we’re talking about blues guitarist Robert Johnson and his legendary deal with the devil at the crossroads. Tune in to know more! She also covers Led Zeppelin, Aleister Crowley and the weird witchy things that happened after they allegedly performed a ritual to bring fame and success to the band. Killing Joke and their occulty rituals get a mention alongside the time they tried to record in an Egyptian pyramid, and finally, Geordie dives into the strange tale of David Bowie, who thought he’d been cursed by a witch. Michelle then talks about Mylie Cyrus’s supposed London ghost encounter and Cher’s house that’s haunted by a friendly ghost, before discussing Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell’s visitation with a spirit entity back in 1993. But the wildest of Michelle’s stories comes from ex KISS guitarist, Ace Frehley, who not only has a haunted house, he was also punched by a ghost, saw a UFO while on tour with KISS and had a UFO land in his garden.
